Originally from Baltimore, MD, Kristin discovered very early on that she wanted to be an artist. She often visited the Smithsonian with her parents and loved making paper dolls, homemade cards and board games. She went on to study at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY where she graduated with highest honors, earning a BFA in Illustration and minor in Fashion Design, and received the award for Excellence in Illustration. Kristin specializes in illustrating for children in both traditional and digital medias.
