Born in Bahía Blanca, Argentina, Carolina began her career as a children’s book illustrator after working for several well-known animation studios. She currently lives in La Plata with her husband, Marcelo and their two beautiful children, Sara and Francisco. After receiving her bachelor’s degree in art, she began teaching at the university. She continues to teach with the same passion and dedication that is also evident in her illustrations. Over the years she has published books, sometimes as both the author and illustrator. Carolina likes to spend her free time drawing even while traveling with her family. She only needs a sharp pencil to keep her creativity flowing. Her artwork is created using a variety of mediums with a preference towards watercolors and acrylics. To date, Carolina is part of the White Ravens 2008 list for the Bologna Book Fair, where she has also been selected to represent Argentina. |
