Carolyn lives in Philadelphia. Much of the inspiration for her art and her writing comes from her love of decorative arts and crafts, her Russian/English heritage, travel and animals, especially her cats Tizzy and Federico Feliney. One of her most popular books, The Little Snowgirl, which she both wrote and illustrated, was featured on NBC-TV in a White House Christmas Special. At right are two recent projects, Hooray for Hanukkah! by Fran Manushkin (Random House) and The Small Miracle by Bob Barton (Henry Holt).
